Insperity’s Certification Program Continues to Build Value for Business Owners

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Apr. 8, 2015-- Insperity, Inc. (NYSE: NSP), a leading provider of human resources and business performance solutions for America’s best businesses, today announced the continued success of its Certified Business Performance Advisor program with 19 recent graduates. Since its inception in 2011, 169 sales team members have completed the professional level program through C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston, and an additional 40 are expected to begin the program in 2015.

The Certified Business Performance Advisor program includes a rigorous curriculum of courses ranging from finance and statistical analytics to business ethics and management taught by faculty from the Bauer College. The 80-hour professional level program is designed to provide Insperity advisors with a broader base of knowledge coupled with a deeper understanding of an array of critical business solutions.

The certification program is comprised of nine eight-hour modules of in-class and Web-based instruction in accounting and financial reporting, leadership and human resources, strategy, finance, business development and customer management, business analytics and statistics, management information system and decision support, operations, and business law, ethics and values.

The coursework culminates in an all-day business simulation that focuses on the crucial issues of why some companies succeed and others fail. Insperity Business Performance Advisors are divided into teams to run businesses and compete head-to-head for market share and revenue. Participants gain practical experience from the exercise – confronting business issues, constraints and obstacles, and developing and achieving appropriate goals, strategies and tactics.
